Any “ism” other than individualism is tyranny, be it enforced by force; coercion; propaganda; or monopoly. In the present, society seems to be a loose hodgepodge of all of the preceding (except individualism), with the one constant being the existence of a way to coerce and control the majority- and once a degree of control is established and people get used to it, it never ceases to exist, as it’s victims will just keep building new ones if anything happens to the old.
Ha! Was talking to my 98 year-old mother the other day- neither one of us had ever mentioned anything about the Canook fires before- but she had been talking with a relative from the northeast who mentioned that the air was so bad there that it made their eyes water. EVEN MY MOTHER said “Seems funny that all these years we never had anything like this before….”. I floated my theory that I wouldn’t be surprised if “we” had messed something up and caused a WMD or something to go off- and my mother, who almost always poo-poos any sort of conspiracy theory or initial skepticism of an official narrative, didn’t poo-poo that thought, but rather said “That would be lousy if that were the case. Something’s gotta be amiss, ’cause in all my years I’ve never seen anything like this”.
The real trouble with scientists is that in today’s world the price of admission to virtually any profession is to be ‘credentialed’ with an appropriate ‘degree’ -Which means you’ve been indoctrinated with and have accepted the given narrative relative to the respective field- which in-turn means that unless one is a true genius and visionary, their entire premise and understanding is based upon what they’ve been taught and what their ‘peers’ accept as being true, which in-turn means that their entire understanding of their respective field is predicated certain given concepts which are considered inviolate, and anything they do is just a narrowing of focus on a particular aspect of that respective filed- e.g. a virologist does not question the existence of viruses, they just strive to ‘further understand’ within the accepted realm of virology.
That is how ‘they’ have achieved such great control over virtually everything today. In the past, virtually all discoveries which have advanced and been beneficial to society were made by people whose primary credential (whether formally educated or not) was the demonstration of their performance and abilities, as opposed to the possession of formalities, such as diplomas and references of obedience; and oftentimes these innovators and truth-seekers worked alone and made their discoveries on their own- as opposed to today, where now virtually all scientific endeavor is reliant upon the state or multi-national corporations (e.g. the state provides and regulates the ‘education’ of the participants; funds the development and purchase of specialized equipment/laboratories; licenses practitioners; provides ‘grants’ and paychecks for the participants…), and virtually everything is predicated upon accepting the work of your ‘respected’ predecessors and colleagues who have been like-indoctrinated and funded; and is a ‘group effort’ -so if one rejects the accepted narrative, they will lose the respect of the rest of the group and be ostracized.
Thus, we have TPTB controlling virtually all scientific endeavors today, and thus they control both sides of the equation, i.e. the sources of accepted knowledge AND the propagation of that knowledge via academia and the media, so that even those from among the public who endeavor to do their own research on any given topic are caught in a vicious cycle in which any attempted vetting of ‘the facts’ only leads back to the source of those ‘facts’- and it is not until one recognizes that they must look outside of the accepted mainstream that there can be any hope of uncovering any truth- and THAT has become much more difficult now due to information technology and how it is easily censored and controlled- e.g. if Google de-lists a website as being ‘harmful’ or ‘inaccurate’, the knowledge being advanced by said site becomes virtually non-existent.
The only hope we have of ascertaining any truth is to first see the contradictions, logical fallacies, and absurdities of what we are allowed to see, for it is only then that we start to see that what we are being told must be wrong, and it is not until we see such a thing that we can reject the false and start searching for the truth outside of the accepted realm, or formulate our own conclusions based on what we actually see as opposed to what we are told, and that is a very difficult thing for many, as it exposes one to criticism and ostracism by the majority. And not only that, but given the limited specialized knowledge of the world possessed by most these days (As most operate in a very limited sphere, studying/working/associating with a small group of people who all accept the accepted norms), and getting most of their understanding of the world from entertainment and ‘news’ media, most consider anything outside of their own particular specialty to be too complex, and so delegate their thinking and understanding of reality to ‘experts’…thus leading them right back to the vicious cycle. Not to mention that actually thinking; and the formulation of ideas and understanding based on one’s own observations and experiences has been virtually bred out of people.
You offer an observation or point out a logical fallacy, say, in the C-19 narrative, which does not fit the accepted norm, and rather than considering what you say on it’s own merits- which is the basis for true science- 99.9% of people will just say “Are you a doctor?!” – in other words, if you are not a product of the system which controls the narrative; the system which they trust, nothing that you say will be valid in their eyes- It is no different than trying to convince a religious cult member that their guru is full of crap- it doesn’t work, because as long as they accept the validity of that guru, nothing anyone says against him is valid in their eyes.
I’m always amused when looking at alt. media sites, like LRC to see that there are always articles proclaiming that “C-19 is a bioweapon leaked from a Wuhan lab”. Such could be merely ignorance, or it could be controlled opposition- either way, it doesn’t matter. The thing is, even many who reject the mainstream narrative will still be caught-up in that alternate fallacy which requires (just like the mainstream narrative) that:
*One accepts that viruses are real.
*That C-19 is real.
*That C-19 if it does exist, is a problem (i.e. that “it has killed millions”)
*The validity of the ‘official numbers’.
*That the faulty, mis-used wildly inaccurate PCR tests are legit (for the numbers of C-19 cases and deaths are reliant on it)
*That this ‘virus’ somehow instantly spread all over the world at once.
*That every nation had policies in place to deal with such an event, and that coincidentally, these policies just all happened to be the same, everywhere).
…and…this is the big one:*That somehow, a ‘bioweapon’ created by these nefarious beings who had a massive budget and access to the vastness of extant scientific knowledge would so feeble as to only be a problem to a small percent of the elderly and health-compromised, while simultaneously erradicating the common seasonal flu and virtually eliminating all deaths from it.
And it requires that one ignore the possiblity that the pandemic hoax was created to induce mass vaccination 98The true bioweapon!); mass control (Vaccine passports, contact tracing…), mass hysteria, mass economic destruction; AND as a framework to establish a world government, via a final big blow to the old order, and the consolidating of worldwide power under the premise of ‘protecting people from future pandemics”- which, any with eyes to see, can clearly see is imminently the case.(And thyat most of the actual deaths were as a result of the treatment of the dreaded disease which most did not even have, or which was just a case of the common flu if they did have anything).
tl;dr: This whole thing is tl,…dr! π
I couldn’t read the drivel in that article (I get disgusted when I see these assholes with smartphones, booking Ubers and spreading their cheeks for the technocracy whining about the tyranny which they so eagerly comply with just for ‘convenience’.) but when I heard about these Canook fires, and especially when I saw a pic of my former haunt on Long Island looking like it was an old-timey sepia photo from 100 years ago, I thought the same thing…I wonder if it is something else? I mean, I’m 61 years old and have NEVER seen anything like that before affecting LI.
The linked pic is 60 miles east of NYC. I was there for 9/11 (happened the week I was supposed to escape NY!) and there wasn’t any hint of a clue in the sky as to what had happened just 60 miles away. There have been wildfires ON Long Island; fires in upstate NY; fires in Canookistan north of the border; the Bronx burnt down when I was a kid….but NOTHING ever had any effect on LI due to it having the Atlantic ocean at it’s south, and the LI Sound at it’s north.
Very strange. Plus, I’ve never seen smoke from farst fars look like that…not even in Commiefornia a few miles from major fires. I’m very suspicious.

Just a suggestion- Wasn’t sure where to post it, so I hope ya don’t mind me posting here…and feel free to remove my post after you read it, of course.
But…how about a red button up in the navigation section of the main site, with FORUM in white letters, to alert those who may not be aware of this forum of it’s existence, and to help those who may not know where to look for it? I think ya’d get more action here if this forum’s presence was made more obvious.
I can think of a lot of things I could post here…but alas…time…. (You know how that goes…).
Hey, when I used to have a forum, my policy was pretty simple: “Mix it up boys…just don’t post spam or p0rn…and don’t come bitching to me if something offends you!” (And I still got people asking if they could be moderators!)
And [ta-da]…your most recent articles have truly been outstanding!

Hi Ya, Mike!
You have the right idea! The R’s are 6 of one kind..the D’s are half a dozen of the other…put ’em together and whadduya get? The same thing no matter who ya vote for…except like ya said…you might stave off the taxes from increasing as much and as fast with the R’s….and maybe get a little better lip service/nicer lies.
(Wish I had more time to spend on this forum!)
Hang in there, my friend. You might be a plumber….but it seems like THEY’re doing a good job of flushing this country down the terlit…and there are no log jams in the pipes! π (Though ya’d think with all the crap they emit, there would be…but then again…with all those snakes….)
Throughout history, man has consistently proven that they don’t understand the body and human processes and disease. It’s absurd for the masses to believe that somehow THIS time they are right. Sure, they can fix mechanical issues to a point- and I say ‘to a point’ because even with such things as orthopedics, the fixes are usually only temporary, and often cause more issues down the road. Just as in the recent and ancient past, the barber-surgeons put on a good show and are called ‘miracle workers’ when they do…but now, just as then, it seems the more people rely on doctors, the more decrepit they become. Fix one thing, and three other things go wrong…fix those three other things…and so on. And the whole COVID psy-op has proven, to any who are willing to see, what a scam their whole system is.
So in short, I pay little to no heed to what doctors say. To think that they understand the causes and mechanisms of viruses is just the height of blind faith and ignorance of the past and present.
tl;dr; I agree with you, Helot. Not the alt theories are right either (They may or may not be- but likely not, either) but it is blatantly obvious that Western medicine is dead wrong. (Been meaning to get back here to this forum for a while…wish I had more time for it!)
Hey Helot,
Yes, I’m lucky in that they rarely have to put salt on the roads here, and when they do, I don’t have to drive in it. My rust-free Excursion is from Montana- plenty of snow, but they don’t use salt because it’s usually too cold for it to do any good. Michael67 had some good advice, and or you can do what a lot of upstate NYers do, and that is have a beater car for the salty weather. Rust is a killer of cars. You go to AZ, or CA. etc. and you still see a lot of 40+ year-old vehicles still driving around, ’cause they don’t rust there. If you drive in the salt, if you can hose off the crud..out of the wheel wells, off the body, and underneath it’ll go a long way to preventing rust…but yeah, it’s a pain…and whop wants to do that when they come home on a cold day?!
When I was still in NY, I’d basically just buy older cars that were in decent shape (you can usually find some) and just drive ’em for a couple of years and then sell them for what I paid for them and get another. There was no sense putting money and work into a long-term vehicle (much less buying a new one!) when it would just deteriorate after a few years from the salt and grime and surface-of-the-Moon-like roads.
Currently trying to sell my rusty old F250 so I can get a rust-free one from out west…then I’ll be set!
And yes, re; Uncle Tony in that vid wanting more laws and inspections. What can you expect from an exNYer? (Well, one who isn’t me, anyway). That’s the NYC versio nof an “anarchist’ I guess… LOL. What amazes me, is that you would think after seeing this world around us with all of it’s laws and oversights and regulations and inspections and everything in so many different facets of endeavor, and yet fraud and corruption prevail, you’d think that they wouldn’t be so naive as to think that somehow more of the same is going to fix the same in their sphere of endeavor!
In fact, it always seems that the more something is regulated, the more the honest get forced out, and those who are willing to work the system prosper to the point where it becomes a waste of time to even try to exercise due diligence because everyone is corrupt and the system protects them as long as they play along with the system, while they’ll crucify the honest little guy for not dotting an ‘i’ or paying off the right person or having the right license or permit, which costs so much that it raises the price that the customer must pay.
“If only the government would watch over us more carefully so that we don’t have to exercise due diligence…my anarchist heart would be happy!” π
Yes, the trades are far better than the path most young people are taking today- Plumbers can easily make over $100K a year in populous areas, and decent money just about anywhere..and the work is not hard. Ditto HVAC, and much else- and in such trades it is easy to get into them on your own and be self-employed- so those are the good points. But from a Libertarian perspective, virtually all of the trades are regulated and require licenses, and they metrics in palce to make sure that you pay massa (Uncle) his cut(taxes).
For the liberty-minded, I think things like lawn care or handyman services, etc. are the way to go. Keep it informal- cash, or checks made out to you personally, no ‘business’. Keep prices low and do good work, people will thronmg to hire you and even suffer inconvenience to pay cash (“It’s too much trouble to cash checks, I just do this part time” or something). You can make good money and avoid the system in most areas. I did that in NYC/Long Island…it was great, and it allowed me the free time I could never have had if I were working at a formal trade. Small one-man micro-businesses, just working as yourself (i.e. no DBA or business name, etc.).
Lots of specialty repair services too- such as small engine repair; boat/jet-ski/snow-mobile/lawnmower repair. If you live in a densely populated area where there are lots of people with good incomes you’d be amazed at what you can find people throwing out that can need minor repair, or no repair at all, and can be sold for a hefty profit. Get a rollback truck, not for towing (as that has become very competitive and regulated, and hard to compete with the shady characters/practices of the state-sanctioned guys) but for equipment moving. There are lots of things if you think outside the box.
Helot, there’s no painless way to rid us of such a system. There’s no painless way to continue it either. Sometimes, you just have to stop doing what is wrong and do what is right (So of course, this crapola will just continue till we go bust/get nuked/fade away). It’s been in place for so lomng, and has so affected the economy, the family, people’s lives and plans, etc. that it’s effects will be felt for many years even if it stopped tomorrow- or those effect will will continue to unnaturally wreak havoc and make things worse and make exit even harder if it continues- so it’s a no-win situation- and those who engineered such a system, specifically the part that makes people feel as though they have a stake in it and a right to it, were evil geniuses, as they made it so that no one will ever dare to suggest ending it, and because it has so effected so many aspects of life and society. It’s a self-perpetuating tyranny that people love and that few even understand.
(I’m not receiving notifications from this forum, though I’ve elected to do so- so if you’ve replied t my replies in other threads, I’m not ignoring you…just haven’t had time to manually check ’em.)
Hello, Helot!
This is a matter that has long occupied a place in my mind, seeing as my own mother, who is currently 98 has long been a SS.Medicare recipient as her sole source of sustenance. What would she do if if it all just stopped tomorrow? -especially the tens-of-thousands of dollars bills she incurrs when she has to go to the hospital?Approaching such an issue from that standpoint though uses emotionalism to justify oppression, control, and robbery.
Our observation should rather be of how such a diabolical system and tyranny, which claims to ‘liberate and help’ people, has instead created these circumstances where so many have become dependent upon oppression, tyranny and robbery. Even with SS. my mother really wouldn’t be able to live anywhere but the poor-house (err…or it’s modern-day equivalent: Subsidized housing) were it not for the fact that she lives in her own mobile home on my property. There aren’t too many places in America where one can live on $1300 a month….unless you live in low cost-of-living area and own your own place outright and only have to pay for food and utilities.
But, were it not for all of the subsizied housing, and Medicare, just think how much cheaper everything would be?! Used to be that if you were poor, you could find cheap housing…just not the best. Today, that’s not the case, because if every landlord can get market-value rent (from the tyrants who destroyed the actual market) by signing up to accept subsidized tenants. Medical bills could be a TENTH of what they currently are were it not for Medicare/Medicaid/government-controlled insurance/etc. and the limiting of competition caused by Uncle’s “regulations” which decree how many hospital beds there can be in a given area, etc.
Had it not been for SS being created when my mother was 12 years old, perhaps she would have been more careful to marry men who were responsible good providers, instead of men who were at the bottom of the totem pole and never had anything.
It’s got to stop; it’s going to stop- whether through inflation, or economic crash or whatever, and we’re always being warned that “The system is bankrupt and can’t continue” (I’ve been hearing this for over forty years, but in reality, there is nothing to bankrupt, since as long as there are tax slaves to mulct, there will be loot to be redistributed) -yet no one ever prepares. They could announce that it is going to end next year..or in 5 years..or in 30 years…yet no one would ever do anything differently, they would just wait for the end and then scramble, as those who are fully dependent upon such a system always have, which is why they are dependent upon such a system.
The carnage that the system has created though- such as the destruction of the close family, enabled by the hope that the state will provide, so one can just dump their kids in daycare, or even have kids that they can’t afford to support nor care for (Which will also be provided for by the state) and the “independence” that such has created, has occurred over the course of several generations of this system being in place…and of course, such evils would not magically be cured overnight, but would also take at least as much time to rectify themselves….but as stated before, this is going to happen anyway…and IS happening…..but few seem to care or to take any steps to deal with it in their own lives. Throughout history (even with all of the entitlements!) there has always been a segment of the population which has been poor- whether through their own negligence and dysfunction or just happenstance…but there have always been also been those who help- whether family or charities, etc. Things actually worked a lot better under the latter…and it tended to discourage irresponsible behavior and illegitimate kids in non-families…whereas the former only encourages such. “You get more of what you subsidize”.
The dysfunction of the SS system, and it’s truly absurd economics is really illustrated by the example of my mother’s first husband: A guy who worked at nothing but the lowest-paying jobs from c. 1940 to 1980. I estimated what he “paid in”, being generous and then even doubling it, just for good measure, vs. what was collected by him for 23 years; two ex-wives; two disabled daughters, in terms of actual payments (One daughter and my mother collecting ‘on his account’ for over 40 years now) + Medicare…and it comes out to many millions of dollars…magically from (at best-case scenario) $20K having been paid in. <$20K (in actuality, closer to $10K, I doubled it) somehow entitles one to many millions paid by others……an economy that can only exist via government- because in real (sound) economics which are not dependent upon coercion and robbery such metrics are no more possible than a rabbit laying an egg.
