If you can swing it, purchasing a min-ex and skid steer isn’t a bad investment. Especially prior to 2021. Prices went up at least 30% on small machines from Late summer of 2020 to spring of 2021. But there’s bargains to be had on older gray iron mini’s. There’s big demand for skilled labor and equipment operators. People dig (no pun intended) 10-15% cash discounts. I offer them to people all the time.
Crowdhealth has a great idea, but the coverage after $500 out of pocket seems low to me. It’d be nice if they offered a lower monthly and a higher unshared portion. Like $10,000. Even $2500 could drop the monthly by a substantial amount I would think. I guess I’m just longing for the days of a catastrophic type policy idea.
Medishare was the most reasonable for a family and offers a lower premium with a $12000 unshared portion.
