Robots and people can’t coexist in the same space. These events will continue, not because you can’t program every possible scenario, but because humans have been doing dumb things in cars for 100 years.
Difference being humans admit mistakes, feel remorse and shame. Then we move on. Robot cars have no reaction. And they all are programmed exactly the same, so if one is a bad driver, they’re all bad drivers.
