The article talks about the “wire services” not allowing the press release. I’m not sure how that’s possible. Having worked in radio news, virtually all press releases are emailed to various news outlets. The Lee County Republicans should have a list of outlets and contact info. Me thinks they might be blowing smoke on this one.

Email addresses get blocked all the time, on purpose or by accident, so I’m unclear by what you mean by that.
I do not know how the back room ‘channels’ work in regards to mainstream media distribution.
However; I always keep the meaning of the word, ‘ca-hoots’ in mind when the subject comes up & never the benefit of the doubt.
