Reply To: Some Thoughts on Those “Isms”
This brings up the problem that human nature carries with it so many flaws and weaknesses. Evil people will eventually come to recognize this and will, perforce, use the opportunity to take advantage and exploit it for their own personal gain & profit and to hell with the consequences. By understanding these deficiencies in their fellow man, they will use them against him to manipulate, control and finally enslave him. And the proof of the pudding is simply to look back on history to see example after example of this phenomenon. Of course this is a paradox that philosophers have been contemplating for centuries and have yet to come up with a some kind of resolution to explain it. Guess we’ll just have to keep dealing with it as long as mankind roams the earth.
