CALTRANS shutting down roads, power outages everywhere. So a double-whammy if you drive a Tesla. Reports of chains required on mountain roads, but I don’t know that a Tesla can use chains due to the very small wheel well gap. Not to mention the low rolling resistance tires aren’t going to do much good on snow.
Question is, is the storm the cause of the power failues or the excuse?

Dealing with California refugees driving through Colorado, I think they should just shelter in place for their own safety. Leave the driving to the people who know what snow looks like.
